Julian Kea
I am a facilitator and a trainer of facilitators, based in Berlin. I have trained people for more than two decades, and since 2013 I have worked with serious games: short, hands-on simulations in which participants tackle a real challenge together and leave with one concrete next step.
I work with transformation, L&D and HR teams who need change to stick after the workshop ends. And I train the people who will carry that change: subject matter experts, process owners, coaches and leaders who are about to facilitate.

- Berlin-based, freelance since 2010, trainer since 2002. I work in English and German, online and on site.
- MBA, a corporate career, consulting at OXYGY (2021-2026), and lecturer at four universities.
- Certified Training from the BACK of the Room trainer since 2016. I co-developed the official online course (TBR-VE™) with Sharon Bowman and eleven other certified trainers. More than 140 practitioners have taken it with me.
- LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator since 2013, trained by Robert Rasmussen and Per Kristiansen.
- At OXYGY, I co-designed with a team a scalable train-the-trainer program for a global ERP rollout, country by country.
- Co-creator of #TheDebriefingCube (with Chris Caswell) and co-author of the book Agile Games Facilitation (with Anne Hoffmann, Vahlen 2023).
- Host of the Serious Games Podcast (since 2019) and of the Berlin community Serious Games for Serious Change.
- Advisory board (Fachbeirat) of Manage Agile 2026.
